Japanesque 8 is a skateboard grip tape featuring Wamon, traditional Japanese patterns.
Includes one sheet of grip tape only. Skateboard deck, trucks, and wheels are not included. Images showing the grip tape applied to a skateboard deck are illustrative mockups.
Japanese traditional patterns, known as “Wamon,” are unique decorative motifs that have developed throughout Japan’s history. These patterns are also closely connected to Kamon (family crests), which have been used to represent families, identity, and heritage for centuries.
Each Wamon carries a specific meaning — harmony, prosperity, strength, fulfillment, and good fortune. For over 1,200 years, these symbolic motifs have been passed down through generations in Japan.
This grip tape is created using Wamon designs that embody positive energy and blessings for the rider. It is more than just a graphic — it carries intention and tradition.
A fusion of Japanese heritage and modern skate culture.
